Rainpiano was the first attempt to extract sound and rithem data from water. Falling drops of water at the core of this object were used to trigger six analog sounds varying in tone from 30 to 5000' Hrz. Originaly designed as part of the 'Wateromloop' installation at 'De Branderij', Antwerp-Belgium. It received water at irregular intervals from a complex of piping and tanks surrounding it.
